Now, for Dad...

Dad has his second week of chemotherapy this week. On Monday he'll be at the hospital all day, getting chemo, having one of his two usual blood draws, and also following up with the hepatologist.

He's having some side-effects, including puffiness, but he says his doesn't appear to be as bad as some people he sees. Also, neuropathy in his right leg, which drives him crazy He said it is like having a funny-bone sensation, at about half strength, all the time.

Meanwhile, he is still taking long walks (walking with "our little granny", his mommy), putzing around the house, and watching "Cops" but not really because he'll get into trouble.

In addition, Dad is giving Susan, his daughter, advice on how to get her old dog to eat, flooring tips, and other general advice.

Here's a joke, in the vein of Dad-Terry:

Q: How much does a pirate cost?

A: A buck-a-roo!

Take care. Hope to see you at a fundraiser!
