Here's Terry, on a recent visit to his daughter Susan and her partner Deb's home in Madison, WI.

All the activity in town inspired him to want to hop on a bicycle.

So they did, and here he is biking down the Capital City Trail, along Lake Monona.

In celebration of the third anniversary of his liver transplant (14 June) . . .

It's the Healthy Liver Anniversary!

This Saturday (June 14) will be two years that Terry (a.k.a. "Dad") will have been living with his donated liver.

Regular lab work keeps tabs on his health. Aside from some high kidney protein readings that are stable, things are going really well.










He's been "golfink" (otherwise known as golfing) when the weather permits, and is getting ready for his son, Terry's bachelor party this Saturday.

Photos and an Update

Well, it's been a while since our last update, but here is a brief one.

Terry/Dad has been experiencing some confusing kidney test results that his doctor ordered several months ago. The reading is for urine light chains. They are not sure what it all means, yet, but there are tests ongoing.

Meanwhile, he continues to get liver check-ups and medication check-ups.

Recently, dad also had an odd occurrence; retinal detachment! He had a bit of a laser surgery to repair, and things are going well, but there may be more adjustments that need to be done.

OK. Now the goodies.

Today, the 10th of October, is Terry Frikken Sr.'s birthday!
