Waiting for Guffman...er, Frikken.

Waiting to hear about an interview Dad is scheduled to have.

Not saying too much about it. Not want to jinx it!!

Some unfortunate news; dad's workplace was unable to have him come back to work: As the economy and the floor covering industry, especially in metro Detroit, is struggling, his job is gone.

So, we are waiting to hear what kind of good new opportunities Dad will have.

I have to say that it was really a gift for Deb and I to be able to edit Dad's resume. Just to see his experience and talents and skills in writing, hard in front of my eyes, was really awesome.

So, a holiday wish: That Dad will have the opportunity to use all the talents and brains and people-person skills that he has and realize it all in a fabulous new job.
