Looks like the extensive bloodwork done by the lab to check Dad for cancer says there is no indication anywhere of cancer

AND

there is no way to figure out that it originate anywhere BUT his (old, original and out-of-him) liver.

If that is their conclusion, that means this kind of cancer is really rare in the U.S., as they and we thought. So, with this new liver, and with the chemotherapy...it looks really good!

In addition, his medications seem to be balancing the rejection that he was having, so things should even out there, too.

It will be a lifetime of monitoring for the rejection medications, testing for cancer.

The drugs mean he is at higher risk for some things, like increased infections because of a lower immune system, higher risk of damage (including skin cancer) from sun exposure...and he cannot have grapefruit juice.

So: Keep him in the dark and OJ only!
