The future's so bright...

...Dad might have to wear shades!

Looks like Pop is closing a deal on a job offer with ProSource Wholesale Floor Coverings, at their Metro Detroit location out by Metro Airport (Romulus, MI).

Dad would be the store manager, there. He has been really excited about this opportunity, as it will be working with people he has been working with for years--selling flooring products to contractors, builders, interior decorators, etc. --and that will make the "sell" low-key. He can do what he does best in a lower-stress environment.

And who do you know who knows more about floor products? Who would treat you more fairly or honestly? My Pop and no one else.

Who enjoys being with people of all stripes more than Terry Frikken, carpet guy?

Yes--he has ruined all of us for dealing with contractors, everywhere. Our expectations are much higher than the average service experience.

His clients are lucky.

His new boss is very lucky. Hopefully, he'll be allowed to help this business to grow.

In Michigan's current economy, to be able to find a job that not only will pay the bills, but will actually be something he would like to do is a great bit of luck.
